One of the love guests of the maiden edition of the Ultimate Love reality TV show, Chris Adah has said that infidelity would be the end of her marriage.
Chris said this while reacting to a tweet made by former presidential aide, Reno Omokri. Omokri who is known for his often controversial tweets put out a tweet saying that financial issues were a more common cause for broken marriages in comparison to infidelity.
“Marriages can survive marital infidelity, but it is hard for marriages to survive long term marital poverty. Research it. Finances are the top reason for divorce. So stop saying ‘love conquers everything’. Without money, the love may just dissolve like sugar in tea. #RenosNuggets,” Omokri wrote on Twitter.
Chris Adah, like many others, expressed a counter-opinion saying that her marriage could withstand financial hardships but that infidelity would be the end of it.
Chris took to her Instagram stories to post her opinion, saying;
“Even in our soaking garri and peanuts, we are happy. But you see infidelity, our marriage cannot survive it. The day I cheat on my husband, I am packing. I will chase myself. This is vice versa.”

After having an unpleasant experience early on the show where her partner walked out on the show following, a disagreement with her, Chris Adah would later be paired with namesake Chris. The second pairing proved successful in and beyond the show as Double Chris is the only couple whose relationship led to marriage.
Other relationships thrived for a while including the show’s runners-up couple Theresa and Iyke (Iykeressa) and the winners Rose and Kachi (Roksie). The latter led to an engagement that was sadly short-lived with Rosie going on to date veteran musician Ruggedman after a while. Iykeressa seemed like a match made in heaven but it seems as though the flame from that end has waned as well, leaving Double Chris as the last couple standing.
