Music Director TG Omori In Health Crisis After Failed Kidney Transplant

Music producer, ThankGod Omori popularly known as TG Omori, has recounted how his brother donated his kidney to him to survive a kidney-related ailment.

Omori disclosed this Wednesday when he shared a picture of himself in a hospital bed on his Instagram handle.

According to him, his only brother donated one of his kidneys to him so that he could have another chance in life.

He wrote, “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again.

“Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”

The music producer, who has been away from the public for some time now, shared the picture of him crying on the hospital bed while receiving oxygen.

Although he has been making cryptic tweets about his health before the recent transplant.

Last month, the award-winning music producer wrote on his X handle, “If I cross your mind, sometimes say a prayer for me.

Omori later disclosed on Wednesday that the kidney transplant, performed at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos on Tuesday, was unsuccessful. This has brought to the fore the issue of fake drinks and the potential impact on consumers’ health.

Tobe Oboli, the 22-year-old son of renowned Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli, has welcomed his first child with his wife, Marelle Bergsma, just five months after their wedding.

The exciting news was shared by Omoni Oboli on Monday via her Instagram page In a heartfelt post, the filmmaker expressed her joy and gratitude, sharing a video from Marelle’s baby shower and celebrating the arrival of the newborn, whom she called the “perfect gift from God.”

“Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy. We never knew we could love a tiny human this much,” Omoni wrote. “Our baby Naya is here, and she’s the perfect gift from God. Nigerian singer D’banj is gearing up to drop his highly anticipated new album, “The Entertainer: The Sequel,” on Friday, August 16, 2024.

D’banj announced on Tuesday morning through his official Twitter handle, where he shared, “The Entertainer D’Sequel | Out 16.08.24,” alongside a thrilling teaser that hints at the involvement of Don Jazzy on the album.

“The Entertainer: The Sequel” is a follow-up to D’banj’s recent release, “Koko,” and continues to build on the momentum of his previous track, “Since’04,” which commemorated his 20-year journey in the music industry. The upcoming album is a fusion of Afrobeats and Afropop, boasting 11 tracks and two bonus cuts.

It features a star-studded lineup, including Grammy winner Wyclef Jean, African legends Awilo Logomba and Youssou N’Dour, American superstar Akon, South African hitmaker DJ Maphorisa, and NBC’s The Voice Sensation Chechi Sarai.
