BBN’s Whitemoney Explains Why Fellow Housemate Queen Blocked Him

Whitemoney Queen

Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye season winner, Hazel Oyeze Onou better known as Whitemoney has revealed that fellow housemate Queen blocked him on social media a few weeks after the show ended.

Whitemoney made this known during his appearance on Rubbin’ Minds, a talk show hosted by Ebuka Obi Uchendu – Big Brother Naija’s longstanding host on Channels TV every Sunday.

Whitemoney said Queen blocked him after she had made several failed attempts to reach him and misinterpreted his lack of having a display photo show on his Whatsapp as Whitemoney blocking her.

Recall that the two were very close on the reality TV show with many suggesting that there was something more to their friendship, a romantic side that is, suspicions that neither Whitemoney nor Queen confirmed.

When asked about Queen on the show, Whitemoney said; “I have not seen Queen for a long time because she blocked me. I think it was a mistake and she didn’t know. That day, I was about to board a flight and she dropped a message. That particular line, I took off my profile picture…you know when you block someone, you won’t see their profile picture.”

“We spoke a day before the incident. I think she had an issue with someone from my fanbase…they were exchanging words. So, it appears she was trying to reach out to me to call that person to order.

“While she was doing that, I couldn’t pick because I was already airborne. Immediately I boarded the plane, I took off my profile picture, then her message dropped but it only ticked once. So, she thought I blocked her and also blocked me everywhere.”

In typical Whitemoney fashion, he joked about the incident while adding that he would find a way to resolve the matter with Queen.

“Na phone she block, no be destiny, it’s funny to me, she has my second line but didn’t bother to call. We’ve not spoken since then but I believe we’ll resolve it.”

In addition to bagging a plethora of endorsement deals, Whitemoney has been active in the entertainment space, releasing his first Post BBNaija single Selense which he says a remix would be out, come February 18, 2018. Also interested in acting, Whitemoney also has a movie that stars Pete Edochie in the works.

‘I have never told anyone ‘I love you’’ – Falz

Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has made some startling revelations about his love life.

While the rapper disclosed that he’s never been heartbroken, he also admitted that he has never really given his heart out to anyone.

Falz made these revelations while speaking during his appearance on the inaugural live edition of ‘WithChude’ podcast.

During their session, host Chude Jideonwo asked the ‘Soft Work’ singer, “Did someone break your heart so badly?”.

In response, Falz said, “I have never been heartbroken,” before explaining that “If you don’t put your legs inside water, can you drown? I haven’t presented my heart that much to be broken. I have been giving small of it ooo.”

He added that, “But in a romantic way, I have never told somebody ‘I love you’. It is not a sad thing, I’m not devoid of emotion, don’t get it twisted. I have said, oh I really really like you. I just haven’t said ‘I’m in love with you.”

Speaking further during the interview, Falz reflected on the emotional toll and deep purpose behind his activism.

He said, “People warn me all the time. Friends say: ‘You better stay out of these things oh.’

“But I’m the kind of artist who draws inspiration from my environment.

“I can’t help it. I feel these things so deeply that it becomes impossible not to talk about them.”

Falz also recounted his experience with the #EndSARS protest and how it impacted his life personally.

That period was one of the craziest and toughest times of my life,” Falz said, adding: “But I don’t regret it at all.

“I was taught never to regret doing what I believe is right.

“And the protest, the struggle, the connection we all felt — it was monumental. I’m grateful I participated.”

He noted that while many try to dissuade him, some say: “The same people you’re fighting for will fight you.”

Falz clarified that his involvement in activism has never been about applause or validation.

He said: “I’m not doing it for anybody specifically. It’s about what I feel strongly about. It’s about compassion. It’s about humanity.”
